Reminiscing

The last time I was home my mother made me go through all of my old high school assignments. This little task (while time consuming) encouraged me to go through all of my old University stuff. I came across a poem I studied in my first year English class. I had forgotten how much I love it (and poetry in general....NERD) hehe. So I just thought I might share it with you all.

This Is Just To Say

I have eaten
the plums
that were in
the icebox

and which
you were probably
saving
for breakfast

Forgive me
they were delicious
so sweet
and so cold

Also, I highly recommend the short story "The Yellow Wallpaper" by Charlotte Perkins Gilman. It is excellent and can be found, in entirety, online.
